Swaging Machines or Tube End Forming Machine - Control Features & Packages

Santec's tube end forming machines or swagging machines are used for expansion, reduction, rolling, doming trimming and automatically process at both ends of the tube in one cycle through auto loader. The PLC control unit ensure maximum efficiency without requiring manual adjustments. Automatic loading and unloading devices increase quality and consistency. CNC tube end-former with programmable forming, machining and rolling operations for tubes up to OD 125 mm supporting a wall thickness of upto 5 mm. The control features of these machines are:

Hydraulics

Cylinder
Cylinder assembly has gun metal bushes and imported PU-seals set including piston seals, wiper seals, O-rings & rod seals. All ensure leak proof operation. The seals are specially imported from Hallite, U.K., Nok, Japan etc. Ram is hard chrome plated to give longer seal life & corrosion resistance. Seamless honed barrel (steel) will be used to give longer seal life.

Structure
The frame of the machine is fabricated out of ultrasonically tested quality plates & fully stress-relieved after welding for longer life of the machines. For vertical machine, all the guide & support pillars are duly ground & hard chrome plated for any dent, scratch & corrosion resistance & more strength.

Electrical
The electrical panel is mounted on right side of frame. It consists of motor starter with overload & single phasing preventer & other components like contactors, relays etc. The panel is wired as per the general industrial electrical standards.
